Don’t be Fooled by Healthy Claims of Natural Skincare

Natural skincare products are all the rage, because people think they are safer. The problem is that all of them are not that safe. There are things to avoid and others to look for. Here’s a little friendly advice.
Don’t buy creams or lotions that contain an SPF rating. Lots of companies have started adding sunscreen chemicals to products that people use everyday. That’s simply not healthy.
We need some sunlight in order to produce vitamin D. You can take a supplement, but you should still try to get about 15 minutes of real sunlight, three times a week.
If you expect to spend more than 15 minutes in direct sunlight, you should protect exposed areas with natural skincare products that contain zinc oxide. Do not use lotions that contain oxybenzone. It’s an organic sunscreen, but researchers showed over two years ago that it causes cancer.
Yet, companies are still allowed to use it in their products and there are literally hundreds of skin creams that contain it. Titanium dioxide, another organic sunscreen, was recently listed as a possible carcinogen.
If there were not a safer alternative, then using a “possible” carcinogen might be okay. But, we have zinc oxide, so we don’t need to take the risk.
A synthetic protein called argireline has been heavily advertised as a safe alternative to Botox. The compound is supposed to work by relaxing the facial muscles, similar to the paralyzing effect obtained from Botox. This is supposed to reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
Even though it’s synthetic, you’ll find the ingredient in some natural skincare products. Why? Remember that people think “natural” is safer?
It turns out that the manufacturer of the synthetic compound calls it natural, because it is chemically equivalent to a naturally occurring protein. There isn’t a whole lot known about it. It’s only been on the market for a short time and there is no research concerning the effects of long term use.
As with the sunscreen chemicals that were only fully evaluated for safety AFTER they were put on the market, we may find out in a few years that argireline is also a health hazard. I suppose, we’ll just have to wait and see.
The best natural skincare products contain things like grape seed oil, a wonderful moisturizer that locks in moisture and prevents grime and dirt from clogging the pores. It is particularly effective for the delicate skin around the eyes.
It has antioxidant activity. So, it prevents free radical damage that can become a wrinkle, an age spot or a cancerous growth. Another good antioxidant is coenzyme Q10.
When properly manufactured, the vitamin-like substance will penetrate deeply and soak up more free radicals than any two or three antioxidants combined. It has the unique ability to gradually “undo” some of the damage that has already been done.
So, look for natural skincare products that contain grape seed oil and coenzyme Q10. If you find that combination along with natural vitamin E, you’ll have a winning combination.

People on the present generation are lucky enough that they can measure the effectiveness of a certain kind of product that would normally flood the market these days. All of the products nowadays surely passed the rigorous testing in order to ascertain their efficiency. With this, people should not worry a lot particularly in their quest to find the best anti aging skin care solutions because the products that they see surely passed the tests required by the States.
Aging is a natural process that all people will have to deal with, though we can now lessen the effect of it. To find the best anti aging skin care solutions, we need to realize that using some supplements from outside can help fulfill the nutritional need of the aging body. In fact, there are products that help stimulate the production of those chemicals and nutrients that are lost as people increase in age. In finding the best anti aging products; Phytessence Wakame, Cynergy TK, or Coenzyme Q10 are just some of the substances that should be outfitted on the product. Indeed, science had found the way to make the impossible seem possible these days.
In regards to Coenzyme Q10, it is a very potent oxidant that helps get rid off free radicals within the body. Free radicals on the other hand are harmful to the body given the fact that it brings too much stress to the organ hence the body will grow old fast. This component is a must-have in any products that promises to counteract the effect of aging since it has been proven to be more effective than any other anti oxidant products that are sourced from natural components.
Furthermore, check the present of Cynergy TK in the product that you would like to get so you would be able to find the best anti aging skin care solutions. This component can stimulate the tissues of the skin in order to create the needed fiber such as elastin and collagen which aids in making the skin look firmer and more elastic. There is also the Phytessence Wakame found on Japanese sea weed that hampers hyaluronidase enzyme from getting rid of Hyaluronic acid hence the result is a healthier and younger looking skin!
But you need to be sure that the ingredients that are bombarded on the product are available in sufficient concentration. It would totally be useless to buy products that feature different ingredients that help lessen the chance of skin aging, only to find out later on that they are available in a very minimal quantity. Hence, you also need to check the levels of ingredients.
Also, it is best to shun away from those products that are made from artificial or synthetic elements like fragrant for example since these will further trigger allergens which is indeed more detrimental to the skin. Indeed, finding the best anti aging care solutions is a very hard process but in the end, it is worth every effort and waiting!
The Quest for Ageless Beauty

Age creeps up on us all. However we no longer have to allow it to ravage us, unchecked. Antiaging research and development have been releasing studies and new antiaging products almost daily – all to help us look and feel younger.
For those who want to stay the hand of time and remain youthful and active through and past middle age, there has been no more exciting time to be growing older.
Science has produced many new antiaging solutions. We now know that parts of the aging process can be slowed or delayed. There are steps one can take to support the body and keep healthy processes going.
We now understand the value of early and consistent sun protection, proper nutrition, vitamin supplements, and age-appropriate exercise. Thinning hair can be slowed and maybe even reversed with treatments such as minoxidil, propecia or copper peptide solutions.
Some signs of aging can be “erased”. There are antiaging procedures such as face lifts, facial peels, dermabrasion and laser resurfacing techniques that quite literally erase facial wrinkles.
Hair replacement can erase a receding hairline by implanting healthy follicles where others have died an untimely death.
There are antiaging skincare products that camouflage signs of aging, at least temporarily. Cosmetics with special properties like light-reflecting particles, foundation shades that match skin tones and provide coverage without a mask like appearance, temporary “lifts” that tighten facial skin all allow us to look years younger one day at a time.
AHAs, BHAs, Retin A and retinol preparations provide longer lasting results by uncovering more youthful skin beneath the surface and speeding up the skin’s natural rebuilding process. The latest antiaging firming creams for cellulite and slackening skin have performed well in standard industry tests, providing smoother tighter skin that lasts.
Most exciting of all are the new products that hold the promise of actually reversing some signs of aging. Newer antiaging cosmetic surgery techniques give more natural looking and lasting results. Botox, and perhaps the new serums that purport to mimic the muscle-freezing effect of Botox, prevent the formation or deepening of lines of expression. There are new creams on the market that combine ancient herbal remedies with modern substances created in the laboratory and claim to actually rebuild collagen beneath the skin’s surface removing wrinkles from the inside out! Amazingly, they actually seem to work.
And there are the controversal hormone theraphies, such as HGH and DHEA. They seem to be effective, but at what cost to our future health?
All this has come just in time for the boomer generation, the leading edge of which is now turning sixty. There has never been a bigger demand for effective products to help them stay young and vigorous.
Everyone knows this lovely phrase written by John Keats.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever: Its loveliness increases It will never pass into nothingness…
Endymion, 1818
If you desire to take joy in a more youthful and beautiful “you” and preserve your beauty, if not forever, at least as long as possible, you want to know about the most recent antiaging developments.
Just as importantly, you want to know which antiaging products are proven effective, look promising or are simply fads or marketing hype. You also want to know which product among competing ones offers the best value.
Seeking Alternatives to Breast Implants, Liposuction in Tough Economy?

It’s no wonder that women and men have decided to put off or otherwise cancel cosmetic surgeries with the economy going the way it has. Heck, those of you reading may have postponed or re-thought any sights you had in the immediate future of having an expensive cosmetic procedure.
So, what cosmetic surgeries are really hurting specifically in these hard financial times, and more importantly, when will they pick up again? Also, is there a way you can use the rough economy to get a great price on a cosmetic procedure. You bet!
There is so much information and misinformation (doom and gloom media unfortunately) going on around our economy right now, that you’d think the US was on the brink of a collapse they will never come back from. While the situation is probably the most dire most of us will see in our lifetimes, we will come back from this, but it is going to take a lot of time. Unfortunately, most people in the know say it will take a few years, not a few months, to fully recuperate and get back to where we were for this to pass.
That doesn’t mean our worlds have to stop, but it does mean for many of us that we need to make cutbacks on things that are not a necessity or things that could be put off without too much hassle of inconvenience. One of the items that falls in the “not a necessity” category is, you guessed it, one of the burgeoning markets over the past ten years, plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures.
According to most plastic surgeons, the past month or two have brought dramatic decreases in their business, especially when it comes to the more expensive procedures that range in the thousands of dollars category, such as breast augmentations and liposuction, both of which are costly because of the anesthesia and actual complicated surgery that is involved.
Conversely, other specialists that mostly do less expensive procedures such as facial fillers, Botox, and other more temporary, but less invasive procedures that do not involve surgery and thousands of dollars, may have actually seen a slight boost in their sales. In other words, lots of patients who may have otherwise been planning to get a facelift, mini facelift, or some other facial procedure requiring surgery may have opted instead for the less expensive, less invasive procedure to save money for the time being.
The quest for other alternatives that may be less expensive to these common and very popular surgeries has led many women to look for alternatives to breast implants, face lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction and the like. However, even those areas of opportunity or women and men have seen dips with the faltering economy.
They’re finding that there are some great nonsurgical ways to look and feel fantastic and to improve their bodies as well as their self esteem, which is a great thing since surgery isn’t for everybody and doesn’t necessarily always accomplish what they patient wants.
Facelifts may be the way to go for some, but often times they do not have the desired outcome and look unnatural. I’ve seen a few women in the public eye who have gotten them and looked good, like Madonna and maybe Janice Dickinson would fit in that category, but for the most part facelifts just make the person look like they got a facelift.
There’s no need for that any more with the abundance of cosmetic dermal fillers like juvederm and restylane, not to mention a bevy of at home products that can be used to blast away wrinkles and the fine lines and spots that go with aging. Such products I’m referring to are the at home soft light lasers, microdermabrasion systems, chemical peels that are available in the same strength as a dermatologist office (just use caution), and other home treatments that provide a world of difference when it comes to looking younger.
There are also ways to enhance the breasts without surgery, such as supplements that stimulate the growth and development of breast tissue, vacuum devices that stimulate growth, and a variety of creams and lotions, heck, even hypnosis for breast enhancement, that have worked for women seeking to enhance this part of their body.
When it comes to cellulite, areas where spot reduction is needed, and body contouring, there are a ton of body wraps that can be used at home, cellulite creams and lotions that work with massage to contour fatty areas, and even special shorts one can wear that reduce specific areas of the body through compression.
So you see, if you are one of the people who has put off that plastic surgery or that “dream procedure” you’ve been hoping for all these years, take heart that you can improve your appearance without surgery, and for a lot less money.
Younger Looking Skin without Drugs Botox or Surgery

The secret to younger looking skin is ion your belly. Have you even wondered why so many celebrities go to expensive cleansing spas? Is it because they are particularly health conscious? No, it is because they are obsessed with looking young a beautiful. Luckily you don’t have to be a celebrity to have great looking skin and youthful vitality. All it takes is a good cleaning and lots of fresh clean filtered drinking water.
Its not what you put on your skin that makes it beautiful
Each year there are billions of dollars spent of beautifying and anti aging products. The ironic part is that the quality of your skin is largely governed by the amount of water you drink, the type of food you eat and how well you body eliminates waste. If these three things are working well, chances are you will have great skin. When any of these areas become unbalanced then your skin will be one of the first places to show it.
Anti aging creams attack the surface but not the cause
Your skin is the largest organ in your body. It has many functions but one is the elimination of toxins. Think about it- you sweat when you have a fever or when you are hot. There are literally millions of pores all over your body with the specific ability to move toxins out of you. As you get older more and more toxins are building up inside your body. Toxins from the air we breathe, the food and water we consume and environmental exposure to a host of deadly chemicals.
Even food can be toxic
Our diets are often lacking in whole grain fiber and the volumes of fresh and uncooked vegetables that it takes to clean out the gunk. Highly processed foods like white flour and sugar turn into a sticky goo once inside your belly. Most of this foodstuff is only waste since there is little nutrition to digest. Literally every time your colon gets overloaded trying to process too much waste, it has no other choice but to reabsorb the toxins into your fatty cells or try to eliminate them through your skin.
The skin is an interesting organ.
It is the backup if the colon is not working.
Another thing is; when we have undigested food material, if it is not liquefied enough, it sticks to the sides of the intestine. Eventually it will harden and when it hardens it also prevents the muscles around it from contracting. This dehydration coupled with the slow clogging and hardening means that less and less of the waste is eliminated. It also means it takes more effort for your body to eliminate anything effectively.
Dehydration makes you look older than you are
A lot of people think that poor skin simply comes with age. Not true. We all know at least one person who looks great for their age all without plastic surgery, botox or drugs. Chances are it is because of what is going on with their colon.
When your colon works efficiently, your skin will glow naturally.
Drink plenty of fresh filtered clear water every day, this is the first step. Next you may want to eat a good wholesome diet filled with fresh vegetables and lots of whole grain fibers. Then add a super green, whole food supplement that will boost your vitamin b and give you the added nutrition your body craves. A lot of things go into making sure that the colon stays clean and I would say that the number one thing is sufficient water intake.
Clean filtered water is the elixir of life so drink your fill and enjoy a natural glow.
